Some of us tripfags are decent but we can’t use our trips because we get bullied. :(
Mean fucking niggers.

Induction burners are fantastic, and portable gas camp Nazi grills are decent for what they are. Other than those, portable stovetops are shit.

That's not entirely true. A Salisbury steak and a chopped steak are both basically hamburgers, but yeah, we all understand that when someone just says "steak" they mean a whole chunk of meat.

I'm not gonna sue the Big Cat just because he's a crybaby faggot. If anything, the company should sue him, because he doesn't do his fucking job.

Robots can only replace corporate run assembly line kitchen workers and won't be able to properly handle the dynamics of a real kitchen until they're smart enough to kill us all, at which point it doesn't really matter.

Assuming this isn't bait and you've never actually taken a home ec class or had fire safety instruction in elementary school or parents who loved you, here's what you do: remove from heat, cover to cut off the oxygen, and never, ever put water on it. If none of those work, use the fire extinguisher you have near your stove/oven(if you don't have one, go out and buy one right now), but keep in mind that it's going to make a huge fucking mess so save it as a last resort. Cleaning up fire extinguisher gunk is better than losing everything in a fire, but try to avoid both if you can.

We've gotten takeout from nearby steak places before. This intern (who was also a fucking combat veteran and a very hard worker) was promised steak for his last day, and got a fucking burger. The intern was a class act about it, but it was a dick move on my boss's part.

People don't feel the need to go out for middle of the road food that they can make at home. If people decide to go out to eat, it's either fast food because it's convenient or something actually nice and well made.

I microwaved a Duncan Hines brownie-in-a-mug with some almonds mixed in, ate half of it, and took two 3s. Now I'm smoking a bowl and waiting for the codeine to kick in.

You're married to a Korean? Because that's what a gook is. I already explained the origin of gook.

Gooks are Korean. Calling a Vietnamese person a gook is like calling a Chinese person a Nip or a Thai person a chink. It just doesn't make sense.

Story time, /ck/
>work for an insecure nutcase
>he's always breaking down and crying
>takes everything way too personally
>prone to paranoid thinking
>Lángos food cart opens up outside our building
>decide to go down there on my own to get one for lunch
>see my coworker down there getting one
>we walk back up to the office together with our food
>run into boss
>he starts going on about how he always invites us to lunch
>says he's hurt and upset that we went to get lunch without him
>starts crying
>starts yelling
>we try to explain the situation
>he calls us liars
This is the same guy who promised us all a steak lunch on one of our interns' last day and came back with Steak n Shake because he thought it was funny. Who was in the wrong here? Should I invite my boss to lunch to make up for it, or just tell him to shut his cakehorn?

>These are not really prominent things in our cuisine
Except for, you know, the second most well known Vietnamese dish in the world behind pho.
>The method of preparing beef shank broth predates French colonialism by centuries you drooling retard
Any food historian worth his weight in salt(caw caw) will tell you that pho would not exist without the French.

There's a huge French influence on Vietnamese cuisine, and only a dumb fucking zip would disagree.

Gooks are Koreans. It comes from the Korean word for American "migook". During the Korean war, whenever the Koreans saw Americans, they would exclaim "Migook! Migook!" which the American soldiers thought was "Me gook!"
We call the Vietnamese zipperheads.

>coffee
>cold cuts
>pate
>pho broth
All of those exist in Vietnam because of the French.
