anon you just gotta deal with it, this is post-modern feminist world

almost none of the women you interact with can cook for shit, and thus their diet and taste for food or drinks are garbage as well.

just learn to avoid women who can't cook.

enjoy releasing wood carcinogens into your meat if you don't control the temperature.

most of these fast food items are so full of preservatives it probably won't matter. It'll just taste a little less fresh, but edible.

for a love boat of that size, it would be more reasonable for it to be around 40-50 dollars.

just learn to eat where the asians eat, disregard any health code posted at the door. If it's packed and its only gotten a "C" go in anyways.

you probably ate at an easily accessible sushi restaurant for white folks.

what city do you live in? i've traveled around a lot so i might be able to give some recommendations.

deep fried duck breasts are a real treat, make sure you get a nice sauce to go with it.

crab cakes
octopus/squid (sprinkle a little sea salt after)
pork cutlets
chicken cutlets
okra (with soy sauce dip)
shrimp chips (http://0.tqn.com/y/thaifood/1/S/7/A/mockoysterstep1.JPG))

these are some of the things i can list off the top of my head.

by the looks of it you might've made some sort of meringue, so adding flour won't yield cupcakes at all.

maybe try adding baking powder with some flour. With the amount of fluid from the cream + egg + coffee, i'd guess....1 and 1/2 cup of flour and 1 teaspoon of baking powder?

anyone else want to weight in on this?

if you have coffee, mix the coffee with the hot cream to slowly add to the egg yolk mixture.

>FLOUR

what kind of a faggot eats uncooked flour?
holy fuck its like no one on /ck/ actually cooks.

listen well OP:

1. Heat cream in a saucepan until hot.
2. Whisk together yolks, sugar, and a pinch of salt in a metal bowl until combined well,
3. add hot cream in a slow stream, whisking until combined.
4. Transfer mixture to saucepan and cook over moderately low heat, stirring constantly, until it registers 160°F on thermometer.
5. Pour custard through a fine-mesh sieve into a bowl and stir in vanilla. This gets rid of the bits that clump together and gives the mousse disgusting clumps when you eat it.

6. Melt chocolate in a double boiler or a metal bowl set over a pan of simmering water
7. stirring frequently. Whisk custard into chocolate until smooth, then cool.

8. Beat remaining 1 1/4 cups cream in a bowl with an electric mixer until it just holds stiff peaks.
9. use one fourth of that cream and mix it into chocolate custard to lighten to chocolate, then fold in the rest.

remember to FOLD, DO NOT STIR. You'll fuck your mousse up and it'll turn into a flat stiff bowl of wood.

Spoon mousse into 8 (6-ounce) stemmed glasses or ramekins and chill, covered, at least 6 hours. Let stand at room temperature about 20 minutes before serving.

>that horrible burnt texture

you can use it for egg curry like one anon suggested.

you can also chop them up a bit, mix with mayo and make egg salad sandwiches.

you can try putting it in a blender, and then using it as perogi filling by mixing it with cheese and spinach.

and to answer OP's question, vegetarianism in my opinion can be very healthy and inexpensive compared to a diet heavy in red meat. However you'll have to be quite meticulous with your diet to get all your amino acids, and frankly vegetarian lifestyle will take some getting use to.

have a go at it OP, if you're willing to work out a well balanced diet, you'll find your grocery cost to drop dramatically.

here's some tips:

-lentils, different kinds of beans, brown rice are your best friend. They're all pretty high in nutrients and are a great carb source; avoid refined carbs like aids.

-learn what the seasonal crops are, eat the seasonal crop. It'll be cheaper to buy in season and you automatically get a pretty good range of nutrients depending on the variety of vegetables you can get

-flax seeds, nuts, etc. are your best friend for essential fats and great for a snack if you roast them or coat them in caramelized sugar.

-finally: figure out what works for you, i know some vegetarians who will still eat eggs to help get their proteins, while others will eat vegetarian monday-friday, and indulge in some meat on the weekends. There's no reason to be an extremist about your lifestyle, moderation is key for a long life.

just remember that tandoor is literally just a clay pot.

i made one a while back by cutting off the legs of those 3 leg outdoor bbq grill.

Got a big clay pot from home depot, and slowly cut off the bottom; turned it upside down and put it on top of the bbq.

I was lucky that it fit rather snugly, but if it isn't the case for you just get a pot larger than your bbq grill, and have something that will give a little bit of room at the bottom to allow air in.

i also heard wrapping the pot in aluminum helps with temperature control, but i've never tried that.

it turned out okay, you can skip the corn and other veggies instead.

yea i've noticed that too, zimmerman has literally zero problems with calling other culture's food disgusting, weird, gross, etc. etc. right to their faces.

Bourdain at least try to keep some semblance of respect, regardless of how foul he may find it.

(ie. that episode when he went to eat bush meat with the bushmen, apparently it was 1 of the 2 times he actually got sick from the host's food)

his monologues can be a bit lofty, which i find off-putting sometimes, but his personality is fantastic. He's gotten a lot better over the years as a TV personality. He use to be a punk rock hipster, and was edgy as fuck during when he filmed "A Cook's Tour" and stuff.
