This. I have about a dozen all-clads and still use my cast iron for thick steaks, cornbread, and anything that's seared then broiled in the oven (half a chicken, etc.)

I enjoy the conductivity, heat retention, seasoning, and grippy surface. It's a nuance, not for everyone.

Probably none of you remember me; I'm from 2009-2011. Thankful to be recovered now. Eating disorders are stupid, they're a terrible way to lose weight and absolutely idiotic if your goal is to look good.

Cheddar should be either sharp or extra sharp. It's that bite that makes it cheddar.

Colby jack is also a phenomenal cheese, but mild cheddar was a mistake and has no use.
