I like my job. I don't believe in this modern sentiment of taking on student debt and getting a "real job" to fulfill some kind of invisible obligation to others. What's the goal? To impress others? Kombucha is pretty foolproof once you get into the routine. Like the scoby itself is extremely rugged and not likely to become compromised, but even if it does it'll be obvious. All it takes is like 20 minutes of maintenance every week or two and some cheap ingredients to feed it.

Kinda winged it, but it's two sticks of soft unsalted butter (I used cultured butter) and a cup of sugar creamed together. Then break two eggs in one at a time and blend further. In a different bowl mix the dry ingredients (1 1/4 cup flour, 1/2 tsp baking soda, 1 tsp kosher salt) and then mix into wet mixture slowly until blended. This part you wanna stop until it's juuust mixed together and not go too much otherwise the cookie will be kinda tough. Finally you add 3 cups of rolled oats, and 1 cup of semi sweet chocolate chips and mix. I did dark chocolate because it's the best. Put them on an ungreased baking sheet in heaping piles and put in a preheated oven (325 F) for like 15 minutes maybe little longer until the edges are crispy looking. Cool on wire rack.

One time this drunk guy freaked out cuz his drunk friends told him his gf was cheating on him. He started yelling in the diner about what everyone had ordered for some reason ("FUCK pancakes FUCK bacon") it was bizarre. Then he left and started banging on all the windows scaring everyone. They left me a good tip cuz they were so ashamed of bringing a lunatic.

And no luckily we've never been robbed. I live in a relatively nice area outside the city.

My upstairs neighbors are fighting right now it's a bit scary. Sometimes they scream at each other in the parking lot and it wakes me up and I can't sleep. I have bad dreams all the time so sleeping is already difficult.

One time this black guy claimed the claw machine stole his money and he demanded ME pay him. We have one of those claw game things you see at arcades in the lobby. He went on and on about it. I told him it's totally out of my hands so he then used our phone to leave a scathing message on the claw machine companies voicemail about how they stole his dollar. Eventually he had to catch a bus so he finally left.

Well since I'm at home I wake up, make some coffee and play some animal crossing until I'm hungry. Then I make some toast or something basic and drink a vitamin c drink and then brush my teeth and wash my face with warm water. Usually watch SteveMre while I eat. Then I browse 4chan and twitter n stuff and play more animal crossing. When it gets dark I turn the projector on and find a classic movie to watch. Last time was Buffalo 66 (Vincent Gallo). Then I'll make dinner and drink a bottle of kombucha. Pomegranate lime this week. Pretty much repeat until sleepy then wash face with mild soap and do my skincare routine n brush floss etc.
