this may surprise you but many chefs hate certain foods, the trick is that they don't cook food to taste good to them, they cook food to taste right. this is how you get shit like the disparity in gordon ramsay's burgers where the one he makes himself is vastly different than the ones he makes in his restaurants.

just learn to tolerate foods you hate so you aren't a killjoy at parties, and eat the shit you actually enjoy when you're cooking for yourself.
