Tabasco/habanero Tabasco. I like vinegary foods anyway so the regular Tabasco is good, and the flavor of the fermented peppers goes well with most things. The habanero Tabasco is good if you want something with more flavor because it has mango and onion and some other stuff.

cholula's is my favorite, but i haven't had any sauces from hot ones, which i hear is really excellent.

i fucking hate tabasco sauce because if you're eating something that you want to be spicy and you don't want absolutely drenched in vinegar then the sauce will only do half of what you want.

>It's 6,000,000 scoville and half a tea spoon is enough to make a really hot salsa.

Is there even any flavor at that point, I feel like with the absurdly hot ones, it's just all heat and nothing else.

>> No.9992586

>>9992284
My experience has been that the very hot sauces have really good flavor that hits you at the start, but quickly fades as the massive heat takes over your senses. Although I do believe that as many tolerance for hotter sauces has risen, I'm able to enjoy the flavor of previously too hot sauces more.

there are so many of you with plebian hot sauce palates. atleast try to branch out and get something different and artisinal, i recently went to a hot sauce tasting and the differences in flavor profiles i experienced with every single one was mindblowing. stop buying tabasco and shitty mexican hot sauces.

I don't even understand what the different expressions were supposed to represent in the OP, but this entire thread just seems to have been made by some butthurt flyover who has never tried SA and wants to shit on it because of his perceived perception of who enjoys it because of where it's from. Dumb thread is dumb.
