Why the fuck do people insist on cooking with this fucking trash veggie? It tastes like fucking garbage when cooked, it ruins everything it fucking touches, it gives it a fucking weird taste and its fucking trash. God I hope a fungus wipes this shitty vegetable off the face of the fucking earth and everyone who enjoys it gets TB.

I used to hate zucchini as well, seemed like a useless watery filler. Then I was making some pasta and had to run to the store for some veggies, and they literally only had zucchini and mushrooms.

Sliced the zuc' real thin and cooked in some olive oil and it turned out great. Started using it in more dishes and it's actually great in a lot of different ones.

So I guess I'm saying slice it thin OP and cook with oil

In the US right now the only summer squash you'll find will taste like absolutely nothing and be devoid of almost all nutrients. Do not buy produce 6 months out of season, it always sucks dog ass.

This is peak growing season in south Florida where I live. My garden (including zucchini) is doing great. Much of the year it's too hot to grow anything but peppers. Most garden vegetables get raped by the sun. It's a hellish place to live.

I used to eat zucchini raw. I fucking loved it.
Then one day my dad was throwing out a carton of rancid orange juice, and accidentally squeezed the rancid orange juice air out of the carton right into my face just as I was biting down on a zucchini. Ruined raw zucchini for me forever, I still like cooked though.

there have actually been cases where people have died from zucchini. Dont eat them when they are really bitter, that means they have been cross pollinated with pumpkin pollen or something like that and they are not real zucchini. They produce an actual poison then that can kill you.
