Is there something wrong with being at a bar and requesting for credits to play at a dart board, pool table, etc?

Would love to enjoy a drink at a bar anytime, but anon doesn't get why I'm refused credits at request and I can afford credits to my bill, plus I give great tips.

Nice going America, you make taking the fun out of drinking and fine dining great.

Pic unrelated.

The whole Western world is going cashless at some point. We'll be able to access our credits from our phones or perhaps a small rfid chip in our hands.
Assuming you are trying to start a thread about that. It's probably fine, unless you're a criminal.

OP responding. I agree with you. I don't carry cash because I don't want anyone to mug my ass or steal from me frankly. Rarely I see anyone with cash at a bar, and most of us just pay for our tips and shit with credit/debit cards.

I just don't get why we can't get credits added to our bill at a bar since we all are going to pay the cost for our drinks and shit regardless (and yes cops will always be aware of this, no pay, cops will have a baton in your ass until you hand the money over)

> Assuming you are starting a thread about going cashless, and in the end it's a problem that you can't get credits from bartender and have it added to the bill.

Should it be fine, or should it not when it comes to honest customers who want to have some fun before the bar can close?

The U.S. and various states within it have laws against providing credit to gamblers/gamers.

I don't know if that situation applies here, but it could be that the bar management was told about potentially tricky legal situations with helping the patrons gamble or game in any way.

Sorry what do you mean by credits, like quarters to use for the pool table?

OP replying, yes. Specifically for pool table and such.

Hm I always carry some cash when going to bars but it sounds like the bartender was a prick (just give me some quarters asshole). I wouldn't have tipped him

I won't tip at the bar again, lucky I didn't get law enforcement or security involved responsibly. Owner needs to hire better people there at the bar.

>Credits

Are you trying to transfer Imperial credits so the Rebel alliance can make use to destroy the Death Star?

Step 1. Be American
Step 2. Never leave America
Step 3. Ok, I left America, but I was in the infantry in the US Marines, so step 3 is it's ok to go kill foreigners
Step 4. Fuck your Monopoly money

So you want the to hand you quarters out the cash register to play pool?

And add it to the bill and I pay the cost with a good tip to you. Last guy who gave me quarters I gave him a good tip (6 dollar tip) for couple of drinks and the credits he handed over to play pool once.
