Baked potatoes are the most filling food there is in terms of satiety per calorie. Not even joking, there's a paper listing a bunch of foods but I can't find it right now

>> No.9235653

Potatoes are heavier that's why

Unfortunately bland food is more satiating.

It's called the Satiety Index fyi.

It compares different foods in servings of 240 calories, with white bread as the baseline for comparison.

Boiled potato is the most filling btw.

So how much is baked potato if they are more filling?

The study was pretty small and never really expanded upon so comparing mashed v boiled isn't really possible.

No data from the original paper

Closest I can find is an approximate "fullness factor™" from some faux-scientific diet site, which lists baked as "3.5" vs "3.7" for boiled.
Top of their list is beansprouts at "4.0"

>Eat Baked Potato
>Add Butter and stuff to the 1kg of potato

>Eat Mashed Potato
>Butter and Cream already in, lightening the feeling of that 1kg
