Looking for some good cheap whiskies. I like Old Crow and Old Granddad.

I too gravitate towards the Crow when seeking cheap whiskey. It's inoffensive and inexpensive.

Benchmark is more flavorful but slightly harsher.

If you are willing to spend a few bucks more, Evan Williams 1783 is a great buy (the black label is ok too).

This. If you want a bottle of good vodka Tito's for $18 a liter is a deal. I haven't had a cheap whiskey that wasn't gut rot.

Not nearly as much as other kinds of whiskey though. Bourbon is a budget option compared to say, scotch.

Beam Bonded is a fantastic cheap bourbon IMO. $20, my store.
