At what point do you truly become a "master" of cuisine? What constitutes the mastery of the art of cooking?

What tier of a restaurant could you open with the dishes of said cuisine? Be honest. That's closer to my benchmark method

Youd need to specialize in one cuisine to be a master of it. Trying to master multiple cuisines would stretch your memory too far imo.

But things like making sauce, understanding spices, different methods of heating food are universal.

Thanks for posting this, anon. You just reminded me that the new Twin Peaks episode airs in 10 minutes. Just enough time to make some coffee and grab a piece of pie.
