It's weird with me. I used to be able to drink so much coffee back then, freshman year of college (as long as it had creamer). And I never felt any jitterness or anxiety. But I assume that's because it was probably decaff without me actually knowing.

After doing a few all nighters for essays, I began drinking more coffee, black this time, except with my body already exhausted, I could feel the effects the caffeine has on my body. After those all nighters from finals two years ago, I wasn't able to brush off that feeling. Even now when I use creamer I get anxious, but obviously to a lesser extent.

I get a similar feeling when drinking Monster, but oddly enough I haven't ever had a crash with that drink. Not that I drink much of it in the first place but just saying.

Looking for a Keurig machine to get as a gift for someone, preferably a newer model like one of the 2.0 ones. Any recommendations? Costo has the K525C and I also have been looking at K475 and K575 which are available on Amazon. It is for my mother and she always drinks her coffee in those tall thermal cups. One of the basic problems I've been running into is trying to find one that will work with any cup, but when I check reviews for these things they will often have people claim that it does read anything, and others for the exact same product will claim that it doesn't.

I know there's always an exception to the norm, and I think (hopefully) I might be one of them.

I've always had a hard time eating first thing in the morning, even as far back as I can remember being like 7 years old. For the first two hours after I woke up, if I tried to eat ANYTHING, even just drink a glass of water, I had a nasty feeling in my stomach like I just swallowed a bunch of snot and I felt like I would puke for the next hour, but never did.

Then I started having a cup once in a while when I was 11 (grandma was in and out of the hospital all the time and we went to visit a lot) and I started slowly realizing that the coffee was helping.

I think around 13 is when I realized that if I sipped on a small cup first thing in the morning, I could usually eat something within half an hour.

I've only ever gotten heartburn once, but I think the coffee actually helped my stomach in the morning. Which in later years ended up being really good for school, because there were certain days I remember in really early school years that I would just be starving through my first class or two because I wasn't able to eat breakfast before school started.

I haven't come along anyone else who has had a similar experience.

Naw but seriously, I don't know if my area just sucks as far as education goes or what, but 80% of the time the docs are just wrong.

I guy I was working with for a bit making some low budget films had pretty bad asthma and they told him it would get worse to the point where he would probably have to be on meds and treatments. A few years after that diagnosis, he did a bike marathon. He trained his for it, obviously, but he still did it.

They told my fiance he would probably be in a wheelchair from his clubfoot by the time he was 16, and he's now 24 going on 25 and does ten mile hikes just fine. They also said he probably wouldn't make it to 25 because his heart was supposedly deteriating, but, again, just fine. Nothing ever comes up abnormal on the tests.

I don't put much stock into doctors anymore, and usually ask the old war veterans for general medical advice. I only go to the docs if I really fucking have to.

I don't know if you're still here, but I'm glad to know someone has had the same experience as I did.
