To cook or actually like seasonings and eggs n crumbs n stuff?

to grill on high heat you'll need all that bread crumbs and egg yolks shit

my new favorite though is to smoke them over low heat with hickory chips. I make a big fat 10oz patty with medium ground beef, salt and pepper only, smoke for quite a good while, your smoker heat will probably not be the same as mine, just give it a poke to see if done.

ground beef (around 20% fat)
salt
pepper
salt and pepper the beef
form into patties
salt and pepper the top and bottom of patties
pan fry in oil, scooping the oil from the pan on top of the patties with a spoon
you can add fragrance to the oil in the form of thyme, butter and garlic if you wish

Ground your own beef with a little bit of beef tallow to make the burgers 55% lean, 45% fat

Add salt, pepper, chili powder, cumin, MSG, cayanne and oregano

form into wide and thick patties as they will reduce quite a bit because so much fat

Cook to medium-rare or medium

Put on a fresh made bun with a decent but non over powering cheese; add maybe some sauteed onions and a little bit of mayo mixed with a good mustard

KYS if you consider ketchup

I posted it in the other thread about burgers, but I'll say it again, add whatever spices and such you like but burgers should be 3/4 meat and 1/4 finely chopped onion, during cooking the flavours come out very nicely, and if you make sure to flatten it out properly the juices will keep it together almost as well as an egg.

I'm new to cooking so I'll assume you're not trolling.

Why fry them in oil if you're using 0% fat beef? In my experience, this blend of beef does not need any extra oil as it is fatty enough to cook on its own without sticking to the pan.

Is that true?

Dropped, lazyass faggot. Stop using industrial chemicals with dangerous byproducts on your food. Use some ground dried porcini mushrooms if your tastebuds are destroyed, for gods sake.

why don't you just boil your burger then, friend?

oil/frying is how you get the maillard reaction.

Chinese restaurant syndrome is a hoax. MSG is perfectly safe.

Good quality beef, make a nice thicc patty. Drop it in a sous vide bath (dont know time/temp, should be easy enough to find, go to chefsteps or something) , add some oregano or whatever you like. Finish on a hot grill. Thats objectively the best way.
