i'm sick and i made this soup

home canned chicken stock
dry ramen noodles
frozen peas and corn
soybean paste
toasted sesame oil
salt and pepper
hot sauce

Congee duh.
Literally just boil rice 1:10. Ideally pre-soak it.
Add toppings at the end.

Vegetable Soup

>roast oninos with a little oil till nearly golden brown
>cut a lot of different vegetablles like celery, carrots, leek, cabbage and parsnips
>you can also add others like red beete, broad beans, shiitake mushrooms or kombu
>toss in while you keep cutting
>cut garlic, ginger and fresh tumeric if you have
>toss in garlic and ginger
>add water
>cut potatoes
>add potatoes
>cook on low flame till potatoes are done
>add a bit of miso and black pepper

Mujadara is a great sick food. It's easy and comforting. It's hearty lentils and rice and the caramelized onions give it a lot of flavor.

Sounds good.

I think chicken soup is good for the sick cuz of electrolytes (no seriously). It delivers nutrition quickly in a colloid mix that doesnt require as much effort by the body.

I bet the hot sauce could be helpful too, but it would take someone smarter about that sort of thing to know why.

Congee or noodle chicken soup. You need a little carbs so you won't get hungry. Being hungry while sick is the wirst thing ever.
