Obviously the best is freshly prepared from scratch, but as far as packaged ramen goes, this is elder god tier

for a flyover state, probably, but if you wanna do the scratch route then just use the noodles. get some ground pork, sesame seed, sesame oil, miso paste, some chili paste, ginger, and garlic.

sapporo ichiban is far from elder god tier, even other piss stain japs would nod in agreement.

I had some in Japan with black garlic oil and it was probably the best I'd ever had.

Honestly though, sapporo ichiban is one of the few instant ramen that seems to understand things like fat and texture. But if you want to make it from scratch, you can actually get decent "restaurant style" spongy textured noodles by boiling dried noodles in water with a little baking soda, draining and rinsing well.

Flavor don't matter (it is all salt flavor anyway).
You make it with pepperonis and instant mashed potatoes, scoop the resulting mess into a tortilla and spray easy cheese in with it. It is best.
