Okay guys I need some help. Things changed suddenly and now I gotta make dinner and I got very little to work with. I have these shitty country friend steak PATTIES but thats boring. I want to make a gravy/sauce with them, but typically people use the pan sauce for it and its stupid to make these dumb patties in the pan right? Help me make a passable gravy for these things. I think I have bacon grease available for a fat, but thats it.

>bacon grease
>flour
>a couple cups of milk
>salt and pepper

Stir the flour into the hot bacon grease to make a roux, stir it for a couple minutes, then add the milk over time. Lower the heat to let it simmer for a bit and season it with the salt and pepper. It's literally like 3 things you need. Serve it on the country steak. If you have bacon you can crumble it up and add it to the gravy.

I made mayonaise recently, and mine tastes fucking good.
4 eggs in the blender, get those ready-to-use industrial season powders (i use chicken flavor) and throw three spoons of the stuff on it. Get a large oil bottle handy (soy, canola, sunflower seed, whathever) and add as fast as you can after turning the blender on.
Not sure what makes the mayonaise to go wrong sometimes, but most of the time it turns into a very consistent cream and it´s ready to serve.
