Now that OPs mystery has been solved lets see if anyone recognizes this commercial.

About 20 years ago there was a commercial for chilli on the TV. I can't remember if it was for a restaurant that now served chili or canned chili or what but in the commercial there was a foodcart guy outside yelling about all the kinds of chilli he had but none of them where real chilli. I remember a line going "Chili chili chunga, chili on a stick!. Tofu chili tofu chili."

That line has been stuck in my head for 20 years.
