Can someone explain how the Subway ordering system works?

I went in once wanting a cheese sandwich, but the cunt behind the counter starting asking me a load of fucking questions and I was a bit stoned at the time, so I came out with some really bad bread with what looked like a really bad vegeburger or something in the middle of it.

Absolutely gruesome.

It's like 5Guys you walk up and order the basic sandwich meat and if you want the 6 or 12 inch. Then you pick the bread and choose your cheese and vegetables. Is it the same thing though? It's been awhile but I remember the chicken being almost 100% flavorless, essentially boiled chicken or could have just as well been made from soy. I liked it because of the texture and fullness it gave the sandwich but tbqh the bacon, ranch, and cheese is where all the flavor came from.

No, the chopped up strips is used on the chicken bacon ranch or the chicken chipolte. There is also the rotisserie chicken which is the chunky brown chicken bits. The oven roasted is the preformed oblong chicken patty.

I think you are just confusing the italian herb and cheese anon. They are down to basically 2 breads - excluding the flat breads. There is just wheat and italian(white) and the thawed dough is rolled in either the honey oak or herb mix prior to proofing. The herbs and cheese is then topped with the shredded cheddar blend before being baked off.
