How do I make my own ramen flavouring that's better than the stuff in the packs? I have a bunch of spices and a couple sauces but not broth, I do have some instant soups tho including chicken

It's not broth, it's Knorr Homestyle Stock.

those jelly stocks are kinda crap. 50% of the time they make the food i put them in taste metallic and I don't know why, I just know they're the problem.

I learned how to make some decent ramen when I lived with my parents

>throw out flavor packet
>find any sort of oriental sauce in fridge
>sweet and spicy, chili paste, soy sauce, oyster sauce
>pour it all in
>find some leftovers like chicken, salmon, or even beef sometimes
>throw it in

It's an inconsistent method, but when it works, it works.

the powder packets are broth- they vary in quality, NIssin uses actual chicken but Maruchan does not. Advanced ramen has more packets, the broth and the seasoning/veg/hot oil

substitute with Knorr, Maggie, Herb-Ox or other brand, add fresh eggies and condiments to taste.

actually miso bullion is more than acceptable for instant ramen, try that and see

Chiggen stocke potte.
I fell for the meme and cooked pasta a few times with a couple of tubs but it I don't think it really made that much of a taste difference. Then again I am a smoker and a drunk so I guess that factors into it.
Product is still pretty much ridiculous shit though and I feel sorry for Ramsey's mentor.

Depends on what type of ramen base you want to make. Just as soup has chicken stock, beef stock, sea food stock, vegetable stock... Japan also has their own variations of stock bases created with native ingredients. First determine what kind you want, then find a recipe online for it.

strain noodles out of instant soup. Add noodles to instant soup liquid. Is this the answer you want?

Asking how to improve your ramen is like asking how to download more RAM onto your Macbook.

Also if you go to 8chn's /ck/ they have a ramen thread if you're interested in that

If you out the broth packet into a pan and cook that shit down with some soy sauce, Sriracha, and whatever the fuck seasoning you want it improves the taste significantly. Then you can just steam your noodles with it mane.
Also add peppers, chives and shit.
