I used to take a napkin and wipe off all the mayo (and usually most of the adhering lettuce). I did this for years until I suddenly started liking mayo.

McDonald's mayo is really good. I always ask for extra McChicken sauce and eat it with my fries or add it to hamburgers.

The only custom order I do at McDonald's is ask for milk instead of cream in my coffee. I wouldn't ask to hold the mayo or lettuce or tomatoes or whatever.

All memes aside, the McChicken is a solid sandwich.

But everyone should try a Filet O'Fish at least once. I avoided it for a long time and had it once and it totally changed my perspective. 99% of the time they are made fresh and awesome... 1% of the time they are old and not good at all. The soft steamed bun, tartar sauce, awesome fish patty is just great.

Before they made some changes at BK, the BK Big Fish was the best fast food fish sandwich. I can't remember what is different about it now though.

Literally tasteless. /ck/ raves about it so I tried one. Reminded me of the one day a week in 6th grade that we were served something that wasn't recycled from the 1970's. Still, it is, and was, boring as fuck. Where's the edge, the excitement, the heat? It's like the fat girl you ring up to shag when all the others have turned you down. It gets the job done, just.

Wendy's had a cod sandwich promotion and it was really good. I think I had the BK fish once and it was nice... but then I had it a second time and it was awful (you could tell it was sitting under a heat lamp for a while).

I find BK usually tastes like it was frozen and then sitting around for a while. I like the double Stacker and the fact that they have a larger menu/more promotions than McDonald's, but quality-wise they are near the bottom of the top franchises (Taco Bell is dead last).

As far as substitutions go, two mcchickens with pickles added. They used to do a southern style sandwich with pickles and ever since I order my mcchicken with pickles. Shits cash.
