Has anyone here ever thought of planning out an entire week or even month's worth of food?

Designing each meal so that it not only fit your personal tastes, but also included the recommended daily amounts of certain minerals, and included all the necessary fiber, vitamins, and fell within caloric limits?

I'm going to do this but right now, all I know is that I need approx 2000 calories per day, and that I should eat less than 2000mg of sodium unless I want to wreck my heart. The number 2000 is important.

Also protein, colors especially green etc.

I've been doing this for months, and many other people have been doing it for much longer. You're a bit late to the party, OP

>just a sodium scared fuck

This is something you should take seriously. Your heat is important, and you've only got one.

I know everyone on 4chan is a youngfag so they feel immortal but I would argue it's one of the most important dietary considerations especially if you live in the US.

i would argue saturated fat and cholesterol for the older crowd is, but im just a paramedic what could i possibly know about the heart. really unless you eat 85% of your dl of sodium in one meal for the day theres no concern or worry unless you already have high blood pressure or youre lacking in other electrolytes.

I have a very severe blood clotting disease and have to plan meals around the medication I use to manage it, so I do plan my meals a week or two in advance, yes.

besides your medication i would try incorporating hibiscus tea or unsweetened cherry juice, when i worked in a hospital as an emt one of the doctors would suggest that as a dietary add in. if you follow a dash diet id also add in avoiding white breads and simple sugars too. if you have serve heart problems the engine 2 diet is highly recommended and you can find a few pre made foods of theirs in stores along with recipes and meal plans online for both dash and engine 2

Sodium restriction does practically nothing for healthy adults, your worry about wrecking your heart is irrational.

essentially healthy adults with a rounded diet should not worry about restricting their sodium, and the occasional sodium filled food wont pose too much harm, the sodium fear is only a result of the standard america diet being shit as usual, and a common fear among patients with high blood pressure later turned into mom science
