its just that there's nothing that much to tell. it said to add all of the ingredients at the same time and blend it for about 30 seconds, but now im remembering some friend saying that you're supposed to add the oil in gradually? im not sure

You are indeed. But also: it needs an acid like vinegar and or lemon juice. This is key. Also, typically has some mustard in it.

That's everything.

I've never done a blender emulsion, but every other way you do it, you gradually add in the fat, making sure it's emulsified before adding more. If yours has the consistency of a milkshake it sounds like it's broken, or never came together in the first place. I'd say you could just run it on high and it might come together, but chances are the heat from the blender would scramble the eggs before that would happen.

impossibru, it only has one speed and I already threw the unmayo away to hide my shame. well at least I know what went wrong I guess.. good thing my hummus turned out a lot better
