What's yours?

For me: Pa amb tomàquet. I have no idea why this isn't a common meal in most places, it's so simple and cheap.
Just toast bread, rub garlic and tomato on top, put on salt and olive oil. Perfection!

I've tried that and it was meh. I find this a prime example of how boring Spanish cuisine is compared to the rest of the Mediterranean. Why have that when I can have a bruschetta using exactly the same ingredients?

I will try. Sounds easy enought for my lazy ass to do.

I like to drink cold milk, easy oats with honey (bananas and something else is also great), pomegrenade+lemon on icecream, plain past with salt (maybe tomato and cheese), random kinds of bread (but not much, im getting sick of it), potato with garlic and sunflower oil, cold water that does not taste like bleach, chocolate, carrots, bread+olive-oil+cheese... Evetything i cook is simple, really. Im a lazy ass and when I find a dish that does not take time, i get bored of it quickly or I end up doing something easier.

Midnight pasta:
Mince 4 filets anchovies, tablespoon of capers, couple cloves of garlic. Mix together. Add red pepper flakes. Boil up some pasta (I like linguine). When the pasta is about halfway done, put some olive oil in a pan, heat it till oil shimmers, add mixture, let it cook briefly. Meanwhile, drain pasta (leave a bit of the pasta water), and add it to the pan. Cook pasta until al dente (slightly chewy). Drizzle some high quality flavorful olive oil over it. Grate some parmigiana on it (optional)

Nope, came across this recipe ages ago. I had some leftover 'chovies and took to the googles and found this recipe in NYT Cooking (great resource for recipes btw), had some capers on hand and gave it a whirl. Loved it. Ive eaten it at least once a week ever since. Easy to whip up after a long day at the office. Puttanesca is tasty as fuck (and just as simple) as well though.

What are some good fruits with low juice content?

I found a nice recipe for homemade ice cream, but fruits with high water content, like berries, seem to cause it to freeze solid with ice.

I've had some success with using bananas and jackfruit.

Does this not happen when artificial sweeteners are used instead of actual sugar?
I used Splenda in the berry batch, but I assumed it iced over due to the high water content of the berries.

no, especially not with those high intensity sweeteners that you use very little of. low sugar ice creams are a bit more tricky.

yeah you had luck! i'm from near Sutri. Pizza bianca is typical in north lazio and is almost unknown abroad. we eat it plain (rosemary, evo, salt) or with prosciutto, prosciutto+figs, mortadella, salame. Pizza Bianca is also the typical snack for kids in school. Is not a Focaccia. Ypu can have it thin and crunchy, with lotsa oil, or you can heve thick, for filling it. Just Ask to the baker and he will take the large pieces, showing them to you and asking: "this way thick?" an then cutting.
