Some people are stupid, this isn't exactly news.

And this isn't damning evidence against not eating meat. A child dying because their parents are morons and did not properly store a firearm doesn't mean all firearm owners are idiots and owning a firearm is bad.

If you own a firearm you should be more responsible than the average person because you possess something that can easily kill others, accidentally or otherwise.

If you are a vegan you have to be more careful to ensure you are getting proper nutrients. If you are a pregnant vegan you have to be even more strict and aware of your diet/physical well-being.

This is a big problem of vegan kids. Adults who were raised omnivores, but converted to veganism later in life don't face many problems aside from B12 and iron deficiencies, but kids are 100% sure to have severe developmental problems.

Baby formula is why so many kids are lactose intolerant these days. That, and c-sections.

Babies need to get the inoculate bacteria from a vaginal birth and breast feeding in order to process lactose properly.

Breastfeeding in public is still illegal in a couple US states. I learned that because a friend of mine did her PhD in Mississippi and invariably fed her baby formula because it was still illegal to breastfeed in public and she was pressured by the health officials/community to feed formula.

Big deal? Abortion is legal and the government shouldn't infringe on a parent's right to raise their children as they see fit. Not to mention the population doesn't need to increase much more. You die earlier or you die later, what's the difference? A parent kills their child from malnutrition or that child survives and dies from heart disease due to poor diet, lack of exercise, and air pollution (all preventable). Nothing changes, there is no net gain or loss of energy, etc.

I can't feign outrage simply as an excuse to rail against vegans. You really don't give a shit about these people so who cares?
