There's this fancy grill restaurant some 200-300 meters near the Sony Center

>enter the restaurant like a bauer with my long hair neckbeard friend

It was a good 20€ for my burger and 2 beers so I'd say the price point was alright as well

Transit was amazing according to my friend
Maroush has incredible falafel
Hashi is ok for japanese food
Molinari&Ko for nice pizza, was packed when I went there

They sell great beer at Möbel Olfe. Many of them are Polish imports and quite cheap.
For actual food, I like to eat at the Hackescher Markt. Lots of nice places there and something for everyone's taste.

Always had good pretty cheap food when I was in Berlin. We stayed in Kreuzberg, so there were tons of places around. I really liked the chicken rotisseries on the street, although those might not be open in December.
