Cooking quickly over moderately high heat. Just heat up a pan on medium-high heat, add some butter, let it melt, add the shrimp, some minced garlic, some salt and pepper. Stir the shrimp around or pick up the pan and flip them around for a couple of minutes. Squeeze on some lemon juice and add some chopped parsley right before serving.

Normal people call it frying. Americans have to be faux-pretentious and use a French word for no reason.

It's the fucking technical cooking method, regardless of which country you're in.

Sorry that Americans get your panties in a bunch, maybe you should see a therapist to discuss your anger and inferiority issues.

Shrimp looks good, not sure why you put it on top of a pile of iceberg lettuce though.

Boil some pasta, sautee that shrimp in garlic and oil/butter, and add it to the pasta with some spinach and herbs. Quick, easy, fucking tasty.

>> No.7152592

>>7148034
Saute literally means in French, "jump in the pan." That's why you see people flipping whatever they're cooking in a saute pan. They are trying to mix all the ingredients and make sure everything is evenly cooked. Jump in the pan, folks.
