Why do people seem to love Tupperware for food storage?

weren't they just an early multi level marketing scam

>> No.6981859

Maybe a little, at first. But the product is useful as fuck, anon, so I don't really see a problem.

is it really that tmuch better than regular non Tupperware brand containers

>> No.6981865

If tupperware is the name of the brand, then how do you call this things?, here in my country we just call them "tupers".

I find that the quality actually does make a bit of a difference, but I guess if you can't afford to spend ~$5 for a 3 pack of tupperware, you just keep doing you, anon.

Jesus, adjust your cooking and/or grocery plans.

>buying containers that melt in heat and leech alzheimer's into your food before permanently fusing with it
>not buying bakeable glass dishes that evenly distribute heat, preserve flavor, and come with convenient covers so that leftovers can be stuck in the fridge

pyrex is pretty superior but also a bit more annoying to store depending on your storage

You really shouldn't be making that much leftovers in the first place

I make a lot of things that keep for about a week or so. Most leftovers end up being my lunch and my wifes lunch the next day.

Yep, and this isn't /r9k/ so no REEE's necessary, anon-kun.

It's a really good brand and for what it is, yes it's plastic and serves a purpose, glass serves a purpose too, is pretty much the best and is better than what you'll get at a dollar store.

>> No.6982014

I love tupperware because it is quality but not QUITE so expensive as to completely rule out me just throwing it away because I don't want to clean up whatever I left inside of it. That's exactly the product I want and need.

Pyrex master race reporting in. Feels good to not poison myself every time I save leftovers.
