Northeast reporting in. Here is how its supposed to be done:

Served on a bun with mustard, relish, onion, and kraut. Bacon is optional but always acceptable.

Hot Dogs should be natural casing only. Hummel is god tier. Split is ok, but should be considered an alternative rather than the standard. Boiled, microwaved, or any other bullshit should not even be taken seriously as hotdog.

Ketchup is never acceptable. NEVER. Its a fine condiment for fries and such but has no fucking spot on a hotdog. Chili and cheese is great, but then its specifically a chili dog. A hot dog should be eaten exactly as described above.
