I was on a cruise in the caribean during christmas time. It was a carnival cruise ship.

I ate in the steakhouse one day on the ship. My meal consisted of wasabi mashed potatoes, some other appetizer, a huge filet mignon cooked medium, and a dessert that I cant remember.

Fiancé and I stayed at a traditional japanese onsen during our time in Japan. We were served a nice kaiseki style meal that featured local fish, beef, and other ingredients. We paired off our dinner (around like 10-15 courses) with sake. Delicious. It was included in the cost of the hotel, which was about $180 per person per night. We also got breakfast in the morning.

Yeah, got one of those where I live now. 60 bucks pp. Wandering guys with long skewers of the dirt cheapest cuts of medium /well done beef, cheap smoked sausage, dry turkey. breast and chicken thighs that look cooked with a blow torch. AYCE, but only 3 oz portions at a time. and when trying to get a second portion, the act like you are robbing them. A fucking salad bar that makes the one at pizza hut look fantastic. 5 bucks for a 12 oz glass domestic draft beer, 7 for a small house red that tasted a step down from. carlo rossi. 15 buck up charge for lamb and beef rib. Had a whole dungeness crab with a spicy bbq sauce @ a restaurant with a few beers. Not sure what the appetizers were. Meal was like 55 bucks in the early 2000's. I know it's nothing too fancy, but it was a good meal and not something I would normally eat and that's probably the most I've paid for a meal for myself that wasn't like many plates of sushi. That would go into the hundreds.
