I was really high at Wendy's and tried to order two Jr. bacons, two double cheese burgers and a fry but it came out as, " can I have two of those bacon double things with fries and two more with a coke" which was interrupted as four baconator combo meals which was like fifty bucks.

is that supposed to be a disclaimer for why you didn't clarify to the cashier that there was a $45 miscommunication?

For me it was either a filet mignon at the Pirates of the Caribbean restaurant in the ride at ninnyland or a ribeye at this five star restaurant called Pittsburgh Blue in Minneapolis

I was on a cruise in the caribean during christmas time. It was a carnival cruise ship.

I ate in the steakhouse one day on the ship. My meal consisted of wasabi mashed potatoes, some other appetizer, a huge filet mignon cooked medium, and a dessert that I cant remember.

I probably won't ever eat anything that will top that off.

When I got cheap tickets at my airline job I used to fly places just to go to one restaurant

With the price of the first class passes, the taxis, and so on, a $50 meal could come out close to $200

But for just the meal I've probably never spent more than $150 per person

Went to Rome and ate at this place called tartufi and friends for my last night in europe. I was a 21 year old kid who graduated college 3 weeks earlier, so we figured fuck it, lets do this on our last night.

I wound up spending nearly $200 just for my own meal, including wine. The worst part was that it was a very underwhelming meal. Id had better meals almost every night before.

When I was still a NEET I had a crush on a girl who worked at the local McDonalds and always tried to impress her by complimenting her cooking.
Got a job and got high on my new finances.
Ended up printing off a gourmet restaurant menu and ordering from the McDonalds while she worked there then giving her $120 to pretend she cooked me a gourmet meal. She accepted uncomfortably then I asked her out and she refused.

The most expensive meal I've had personally was on my honeymoon, and it cost us over $400. That was a loooong time ago, though.

The most expensive meal I've paid for, though, was when I hosted a dinner for my parents 50th anniversary at a resort, and paid $3500 for about 30 guests. I got a discount on that though, because I brought in the cake from a special bakery (another $150) and did the flowers arrangements myself (I worked as a florist for awhile in college).

Had a whole dungeness crab with a spicy bbq sauce @ a restaurant with a few beers. Not sure what the appetizers were. Meal was like 55 bucks in the early 2000's. I know it's nothing too fancy, but it was a good meal and not something I would normally eat and that's probably the most I've paid for a meal for myself that wasn't like many plates of sushi. That would go into the hundreds.

Probably language barrier, but I do not understand that sentence at all. Somebody mind explaining it?

As I understand it, while he worked at the restaurant, he printed the Mc Donald menu on a fancy looking menu, pic related, and ordered some stuff when she was working as a cashier.
And paid 120 bucks to feel like he was at a Michelin restaurant.
She took the money feeling embarrassed as fuck by his loads of spaghetti.
Then he asked her on a date, she refused. And probably ran away, changed job, and asked for police protection.

Spent $135 at a restaurant on a date once. Was well worth it

Ate at the metropolitan grill in Seattle.
If I remember correctly it had ohmi, wagyu, and Hokkaido snow beef on it.
It was fucking delicious.

Went with a couple friends to one of those beachside, high rise restaurants where the room slowly rotates to give you a 360 view of outside. The tip alone came out to $150, best service I've ever gotten though.

My girlfriends father paid $10 grand for a meal for 4 people me included.

Wasn't even that great to be honest. Could easily get the same or better for $100 a head in Australia.
Was in China.

Relatively fancy szechuan restaurant in Hong Kong.

Was approx $80/person, without ordering any drinks or dessert.

Second most expensive was some niche place near my hometown that only had one chef and sat about 20 people per night. Around $75/person for a full course with dessert, but not including drinks.

I've eaten at a number of restaurants that turned out to be 250-350 a person, but I think per se was the most expensive meal I have had--I want to say it was like 1400 for three people?
