Attempted to eat a deep fried candy bar at the fair. Couldn't even swallow one bite. Left a fucked up taste in my mouth for hours and it smelled much worse than I imagined. I was expecting something outrageously rich and decadent, but I got a mouthful of nasty grease flavor with underlying notes of chemicals and burn plastic. I watched them make it too, they just battered a snickers and then fried it. Didn't see the oil though, maybe it was nasty.

When in Iceland, I've tried Hákarl. It smelled like public toilets during summer and I had to down some Brennivín to get it down. It was probably the nastiest thing I've ever eaten after my father's bread and bean soup.

There was a pepper extract wing challenge at a local sub-pub I tried.
I love extremely spicy food, so I didn't shut down and cease functioning like other people, but I wasn't prepared for the stomach acid rising so fast(giving the sensation of being full), and the shaking.
After a certain point, food doesn't get any spicier in your mouth.
It has other effects like making you shake uncontrollably, your eyes water, and nose runs non stop. You look like a miserable mess. Your stomach will make you puke if you eat too much of it due to rising acid.
