Just bought a slow cooker so I can make bone broth for my dog, but I'll probably also use it to make human food every now and then. What are /ck/'s favorite slow cooker recipes? Any tips/tricks you've figured out and don't mind sharing?

Actually over the past 30,000 years dogs have become quite people-oriented. Recent studies show that the way a dog looks at a person is similar to how a human infant would, and that they can read emotions through facial expressions. I completely agree that dogs are not people, and having owned and trained several working dogs I actually hate when people anthropomophize which can ruin a perfectly good dog, but that doesn't deny the fact that dogs have evolved to be closer to us than any other species.
