I've seen freeze dried herbs. How is that any different? Wouldn't freezing them do the same thing?

GODAMMIT, no you amoeba brained monkey fucking cuck; the freeze drying process takes place at far lower temperatures than you would be able to achieve in your basements dorm micro fridge, faggot.

Wash it, dry it, and throw it in the freezer. You don't even have to keep them frozen once you've gotten all of the moisture out of them.

>>6767892

Is there a special way to dry them?

Don't listen to these retards anon, you can freeze basil, dills, spring onions whatever... just make sure they're dry and pop them in a ziploc bag and that's it, don't expect them to taste fresh after you thaw them out, if you want to freeze them to use in sauces or soups later it's going to be fine.

You seem upset. And over such a petty thing, too.

Maybe you should go have a nap. Or an herbal tea.

Just grow herbs man. It's like $3 at a nursery and they're super easy to maintain.

>> No.6772804

Not OP.

I actually need some advice with my basil. Ithas been growing steadily and now it's tall enough that the stems are bending over. What do I do? Let them grow with support?

Also, can the stam/stalk be eaten?
