I'm not exactly a huge kfc fan, but their chicken and biscuits are always decent when I eat there. Defiantly not pink and slimy (greasy a hell though, obviously. Their mash potatoes are shit though.

Last time I had KFC the chicken itself was actually decent. It was all cold and the gravy was watery piss, it was unreal. On the other hand, Fryer Tucks is fucking god tier fried chicken. There's only two in existence where I live and its ways away. Absolutely the best fried chicken I've ever had. Their Jo Jo's and fried are kind of shitty but the chicken makes up for it.

Somebody once told me that a KFC that's part of say a high street or another row of shops, is a different type of franchise lease than one of the individual KFC buildings like at a retail park or service station.

The individual--building franchises are supposed to have more corporate input/monitoring, therefore the standard of their food is higher and there's less corner cutting.

Don't know if it's true, or if it applies outside of the UK if it is (I've never even Googled it). My local highstreet KFC is shit compared to a motorway services one nearby though.
