Just ordered a bottle of this stuff. Heard good things about it. Looking for something tasty and with a good amount of heat.

Also hot sauce thread.

This is the best tasting, most versatile hot sauce on the market. Prove me wrong.

I recently got some Blairs mega death sauce ("with liquid rage").

If I ever meet Blair in person imma kick him in the nuts.

It's alright, but definitely not used in applications for your standard hot sauces

Blair is a pretty cool guy. I love a bit of burnt anus in the morning.

Dave is more my style.

Dave's total insanity is awesome for me.

I sorta want to buy a nice teasing bottle of hot sauce, but I'm totally unfamiliar with lots of different brands. I don't really care to start a collection, and while I can handle heat just fine, I would prefer good flavor over heat in a sauce. Anyone got any recommendations on what I should look out for/order?

I was thinking about ordering this, mostly for novelty, as I like the band, anyone ever try it? Thoughts?

Dave's total insanity for flavor.

Mad dog 357 for novelty.
I lost my shit after 'accidentally' having too much of it - got tunnel vision and started seeing colors.

It's pretty decent but too salty for my taste and only medium on heat.

Great on a tuna sandwich/toasty though.

Probably gonna grab a bottle of this, it's only 5 bucks.

I also make my own ghost pepper sauce at home.

We have bottles of Mad Dog where I work and its great to see people trying to eat it when they claimed they can handle it because muh ghost pepper

>> No.6737192

When buying hot sauce, they're made with shit like ghost peppers or scorpion but they're only like 357,000 scoville units when made into a sauce. Is this because of dilution, or are they still REALLY, REALLY hot?

Any idea how the mad dog 357 ghost pepper version is? I just ordered a 5 ounce of it because I already use my homemade ghost pepper (I grow my own) sauce on it, but wanted to try something with more ingredients than just pepper, vinegar, and lime juice.

>> No.6737231

Sauces often just use extracts. Also you're right, the other ingredients dilute it.

I'm gonna assume you mean not much by ghost pepper standards, but considering it still contains actual ghost pepper there's probably actually a pretty good balance.

If so, I'm sold.
