I sorta want to buy a nice teasing bottle of hot sauce, but I'm totally unfamiliar with lots of different brands. I don't really care to start a collection, and while I can handle heat just fine, I would prefer good flavor over heat in a sauce. Anyone got any recommendations on what I should look out for/order?

I was thinking about ordering this, mostly for novelty, as I like the band, anyone ever try it? Thoughts?

When buying hot sauce, they're made with shit like ghost peppers or scorpion but they're only like 357,000 scoville units when made into a sauce. Is this because of dilution, or are they still REALLY, REALLY hot?

Any idea how the mad dog 357 ghost pepper version is? I just ordered a 5 ounce of it because I already use my homemade ghost pepper (I grow my own) sauce on it, but wanted to try something with more ingredients than just pepper, vinegar, and lime juice.

Sauces often just use extracts. Also you're right, the other ingredients dilute it.

I'm gonna assume you mean not much by ghost pepper standards, but considering it still contains actual ghost pepper there's probably actually a pretty good balance.
