How are you posting?
Don't you have a shelter or food bank around?
Also you should find a hot plate and a cast iron pan and leech electricity late at night

>> No.6722001

Free wifi probably. Electronics can be charged off of public outlets or at shelters, so keeping a phone or a laptop alive isn't too hard. Carting around stuff to cook with would be the harder part I think.

Try cooking up some job applications.

Go to a taco bell, buy a $1 taco and swipe as much salsa as possible.

Then go to the grocery store. Buy as much black beans as you can carry.

Ad 2 packs of salad for each can. When I go hiking, that''ll be my lunch for the first few days

Made a stove out of a cat food can, and a cheap pot.

anything involving boiled water: pasta, rice, mashed potatoes. You can pan (or pot) fry meat: chicken breasts, sausage. Combine any of these into one-pot dishes like chicken and rice, rice and beans, stir fry. You can make any soup or stew you like. Use a bowl and/or aluminum foil to set aside cooked components prior to combining (like drained noodles, seared meats). There are a lot of possibilities with just one pot and a little burner! It's mostly about sequence and timing. See if you can go about making a little rocket cooking stove so you can use sticks and shit as a fuel source, too.

The guy is fucking homeless, he doesn't need nutritionally deficient foods, regardless of cost.
You're a fucking idiot, son.

When I was homeless, I would combine hot and sauce and those cans of pork and beans that have the pull-tab. The vinegar and spice helped make it palatable. I liked Texas Pete because it didn't remind me of tacos or burritos. Also, I always ate it cold. Get some buttery crackers like Ritz or club house.

The biggest mistake I made at the beginning was carrying around too much stuff. You have a temptation to bring your old life with you. You think to yourself that you need shit like pillows and a vacuum flask. Both are nice when homeless, but they're just too bulky and heavy.

Get a shopping cart if you think you really need that stuff. It's just going to slow you down and make you a target, though.

Good luck.

Did you not read the entire post with all the suggestions about one pot dishes? Or are you just not a nutritionist who thinks he knows everything? Or maybe you're just sheltered enough to think homeless people are flat broke and cannot buy food? You sound like a fucking idiot, sir. Homeless people usually have jobs/earn a source of income. Wrap your mind around that next time you start judging people.
