Yes, yes it is. You might think it's to deseed them or to dig the stem out, but that could be done easier with a single, pointed knife or another tool.

The prongs are like a fork so you may use it as such.

I don't really think I need one.

Do I need a tomato knife? I know I sort of squish them a bit when I cut sometimes, but is that really all that bad?

My knives are kept sharp enough to cut tomatoes but I've found this little shit slices them perfectly if I'm in a hurry and don't want to get out the whetstone.

Fruit is a biological classification; vegetable is a culinary classification.

A tomato is both a fruit and a vegetable.

Hint: if your weapon is specifically rated for .223 then regularly firing 5.56 may damage it

Then what the hell is a hot .223?

Also, what sane human being buys a rifle like the one he posted that can't take 5.56x45?

>> No.6657886

A .223 that exceeds the usual pressure specifications

And thousands of sane AR owners who happen to own .223 uppers as well as the further thousands upon thousands of hunting rifles chambered in .223

>> No.6657909

>>6657886
Hunting rifles fine, but you don't neuter a combat-oriented rifle by limiting it to a small-game round nearly the same dimension. If you feel like swapping out uppers regularly okay, but hot .223 is silly.

So what's the fucking point then (hurrr)?

The "tomato" knife in and of itself is fucking useless, either you've got a proper knife that can cut through it.

Or you've got a bread knife that's serrated and can cut through it.

Check mate soccermoms.
