I pop three banquet spaghetti's in the oven and it's a surprisingly decent meal. Beats anything else at three bucks.

Holy fuck that looks awful. I used to buy a "TV Dinner" once a year because I love the concept but hated the reality. Why can't they make a decent TV/nuke-able dinner?

These, to be precise. You should really kill yourself if it's too much to ask of you to boil a pot of water for spaghetti, put pasta sauce in a pot and heat it on the stove and microwave a 2 dollar bag of meatballs, then mix everything together.

Fuck cleaning 3 pieces of dishware (mainly because I know my shitbag roommate for some reason will have made it dirty as fuck at some point during the day somehow even though he only eats fast food).

Yep, kill yourself before you breed. Christ.
Also, been there, done that in college with the roommate situation. My best advice is to obtain your own pots, pans, dishes, glasses and silverware, then tell your roommate(s) that if they want to use them, they must clean them after using them, no exceptions. When you finish using your own stuff, clean it. Problem solved.

Also, man, just lemme tell you, now that I'm older and wiser, I think back on my college days and wish I would have cooked a lot more, because I would have saved ludicrous amounts of money by doing so and could have then spent that on herb, booze, women, etc. Shit, I could have had so much more fun in college if I had just cooked more and shopped smartly. Keep these words in mind. Learn how to cook a bunch of cheap-ass meals man. Beans and motherfucking rice is a good one. Fried rice with eggs as the protein is another. Hot dogs are cheap as shit. Stray away from frozen meals and try to keep your per meal costs well under two dollars. This is a lot easier than it sounds and your pocketbook and thus the amount of fun you can have in college will expand greatly.

I've found these to be overpriced, to provide not enough meat and to be too small in general. I'll admit that they're tasty, though.

Read the thread. California. A pound of the most affordable ground meat you can find would be a workable substitute for meatballs in spaghetti, unless all meat is at ass-raping prices where you live.
