How do patricians prepare their eggs?

>> No.6552087

Raw.

>> No.6552089

Raw with mayonnaise

>> No.6552091

>>6552080
Eaten only after the egg has been hardboiled from the heat of inside of a peasants anus.

>> No.6552097

fried sunny side up
poached on toast
hard boiled, runny yolk
pickled

Would this actually work?

Could you put an egg in an anus and - assuming the shell doesn't break - cook it?

>> No.6552127

>>6552119
is your body cooking itself?

dot dot dot

As a patrician, I don't see how I could possibly enjoy eating eggs, ever, since they are known to be the bitterest food on earth.

(jk, I love eggs all sorts of ways, but poached, scrambled, and fried over medium with horseradish (just with fried eggs, though) are my favorites. Also, a runny fried egg on top of a couple of fluffy buttermilk pancakes is GLORY GLORY GLORY)

that's called soft boiled ya dingus

Why are you asking /ck/ about patrician related matters?
Only plebeians here mate, look at the quality of the threads.

>> No.6552334

the only acceptable answers are:

> scrambled
> scrambled with some zest/seasoning
> sunny side up
> over-medium

literally any other way to prepare eggs is cancer, and if you ever think about making gordon ramsay's pretentious eggs just end your life for being a redditor

>> No.6552344

I like over medium. I'll eat around the yolk then pop the entire yolk in my mouth. Delicious

Adaptation of Eggs Woodhouse that is actually affordable (and delicious):
> Obtain eggs from backyard chicken farmers (they're everywhere)
> Poach two of them in water with a little bit of white wine vinegar
> Set the eggs aside and cover to keep warm. Drain out most of the vinegared water, leave a little bit
> Bring that water to a boil. Add about a cup of spinach and stir constantly until the leaves cook down.
> Discard the remainder of the water, dry the spinach, and chop it finely.
> Melt around a tablespoon of butter in a skillet. Mince a clove of garlic into the butter and stir it around until it's fragrant.
> Add two thick slices of (cooked) ham into the butter. Saute for around a minute per side to warm the ham and impart some extra flavor, them remove
> Add the chopped spinach to the butter. About 30 seconds later, add around a quarter cup of heavy cream. Bring to a simmer, allow cream to reduce by half.
> Plate the creamed spinach. Add the ham on top of the spinach and the eggs on top of the ham.
Serves two. Add fresh fruit for a delicious brunch.

I have this thing where I try to re-use cooking environments across a dish; hence why I use the same vinegar/water I poach the eggs in to boil the spinach.

If you don't share my OCD, by all means cook the eggs last.
