Each of its four ingredients does.

Sugar, 1lb
Butter, 1lb
Eggs, 1lb (about 5 large)
Self-raising flour, 1lb

Hot up oven to 180°C/350°F.
>Not necessary, but recommended step: run your sugar through the blender to powder it; makes the next step easier.
Beat butter and sugar together until it turns light yellow in colour.
Beat in eggs one at a time.
Stir in flour by hand. Try not to overmix.
Pour into floured cake tins.
Bake until set and a tooth inserted centrally will come out clean. Time will vary depending on the shape of the tins used.

It is by far the easiest cake to make. And can be turned into a oaty biscuit recipe by adding a pound of oats, as well.

hey /ck/ I made a pasta salad with the following ingredients:

1 serving of macaroni
a quarter of a cucumber
one boiled egg
a small onion
1 tbsp of mayo
1 tsp of vinegar
2 tsp of olive oil
pepper
a drop of capsicum pepper paste

I think it tastes pretty alright, albeit nothing groundbreaking. Is this a legit recipe though?
