Bulgaria here, I thought it looked weird too. Real halva on the right, I bet Canadabro doesn't think it tastes good anymore.

>> No.6442045

and yeah, sherbet is better. Halva always fucked your mouth with its annoying sticky stucture

I've never had sherbet, how does it compare to halva? It looks like shit honestly.

>tfw haven't had halva in over 10 years

When I was a weak little faggot kid I'd always cut myself because I was too weak to cut it properly lmao.

sherbet remind me a snickers, but its made from butter+condensed milk+honey instead of caramel and chocolate.
Those east faggots got many different recipes of that stuff.
and same here, i haven't had sherbet idk how long

>butter+condensed milk+honey

Sounds neat. I actually don't know what halva is made of but I'd say it's better just because it's more unique.

Finnfag here, I've only found shoddy sunflower seed halva.

>> No.6442077

>>6442075
How can you tell it was shoddy? Have you ever had real halva to compare? Halva itself honestly it shoddy and shitty looking.

That isn't halva.

I eat halva every year when I visit family in Russia, it's delicious next to a cup of tea. The halva I can buy here is always dry and has a sand like texture, not very good, I think they import it from Turkey.

>dry and has a sand like texture

But that's just how normal halva is.

>> No.6442085

>>6442081
Well, yes, I should have worded myself differently.
While halva is indeed dry, it should also be a bit moist/oily and easily flake up. The halva I get here is dry/hard and difficult to break into pieces. It also tastes a little differently.

dry sand halva suck cocks, but it's hard to find good halva, almost all of shops sell that dry piece of shitlva, and if you want really delicious one you got to go to those terrorist race on some stinky marketplace with tones of grumpy old customers, god damn they always make me mad
