Pretty much. I'm the kind of customer who orders the $5 footlong, and refuses to take the combo or a cookie. It must be killing them. You can to go any supermarket that has a store brand and get a big bag of chips and a two liter of soda for less than $2.

They're optional. In some regions they're really popular and most Subways have them, in some they're hard to find.

The seafood sub is my favorite. I get it with no cheese and just a few veggies.
