A coffee, and maybe some Timbits. The rest is forgettable, mostly microwaved frozen stuff.

Specifically chocolate timbits. Their iced capps are good too, but you don't want to miss out on Roll Up The Rim

Do they come in singles? I normally hate sweet foods but will make and exception here. Probably won't be able to stomach more than a single though

>> No.6270595

The Vanadian maple or Boston cream have the most calories and taste good. I usually get a maple dip or honey glazed though.

For lunch avoid the sandwiches. The chilli or chicken noodle soup is passable.

It's 10 degrees F here, I'm not getting iced anything

I think the smallest pack is 15 or 20. Donuts are ok for the most part, but Boston cream is probably your best best for a single serving.

>> No.6270605

Get a dank medium double-double with an everything bagel toasted with cream cheese with a honey crueler donut.

Pick up a peach juice for the road.

>> No.6271249

Chili combo, everything bagel with garlic herb cream cheese instead of a donut (for extra chili dunking), large coffee 1 cream 1 sugar.

and pickup timbits on your way out.

there is always somolians at my local tim hortons. I guess the ravaged bathrooms, and waiting in line for food reminds them of Mongadishu.

Pfft please that's not even that cold. I still drink Iced Capps at -25C (-13F) if the spirit moves me. If you want the true Canadian experience you start by not being a little bitch because it's "winter".

>Timbits
Canadafag here, Tim Hortons no longer makes Timbits since they were bought by Burger King.

I used to work at Tim's so I can guarantee you everything come frozen, except maybe the lettuce, which is pre-shredded.

Best sandwich is Turkey Bacon Club. I haven't really tried any of their newer lunch items because I remember when their "grilled" chicken came as a frozen block with grill marks on it that got put in a warming tray. Chilli is also pretty good. A doughnut is a doughnut so you can't go wrong there. Croissants and muffins are also ok. I remember when they used to actually make muffins from batter in pails, but now like the doughnuts it's all pre-assembled in a factory, put in a box and frozen, and then finished baking in store. Coffee is totally different from Starbucks/Second cup. Tim's is much less bitter. Just make sure you buy a coffee at a busy time of day and not in the middle of the night, because it will be burnt to shit.

Tim's is really not known as a quality cafe. They used to make things in store a couple decades ago and even had cakes and eclairs and stuff, but now it's all prefab and moving more into the competitive lunch market. Still, everyone goes there because it's cheap and ubiquitous.

No longer makes Timbits? I hate to break it to you, but your local Tim Hortons franchise must be shit. Here in GTA region there is absolutely no Tim's I've come across that isn't selling Timbits.

>> No.6272962

>>6270546

A coffee and a grilled cheese sandwich with bacon and tomato.

It's really overrated but they make a decent cheap cup of coffee that isn't burnt flavoured.

>> No.6272970 [DELETED]

>>6272910

He probably mean make them in the store.

All their shit is frozen and "baked" (warmed up) in store.

Also their donuts fucking suck. I don't think I've ever had a worse one other than that prepackaged little debbie shit from a grocery store.

He means that they aren't baked on site. They come in frozen and are reheated in the store.

Really? That's disgusting. For what purpose? They surely already had all the equipment to make them fresh....

Just the coffee, honestly. Other than that I like some of the baked goods sometimes. I never ever eat actual food there.

>> No.6273233

everything at timmies is either garbage or overpriced garbage. I don't know why anyone cares anymore. When I was a kid the donuts were half decent, but everything is from frozen now, there's no point.

You can ask for one or two, they just put it in one of those paper bags.

>>6270546
The 12 grain and Everything bagels are the best. Toasted is the way to go, with butter, cream cheese or jam. BLT on a bagel isnt bad either. Turkey bacon club is the best sandwich (on whole wheat) and the chili is pretty good for a fast food joint. the panini's are ok, i'd recommend the tuscan chicken w/bacon.

Their sausage items on the breakfast menu are good too, sausage B.E.L.T. or sausage and egg on a biscuit are both good.

The timbits are better than donuts, chocolate glazed and sour cream are the best. the donuts are so-so, the boston cream or the honey crueller are most popular. best to get donuts in the morning when they're fresh.

The hot coffee is good, you could try the very canadian double-double which is 2 milks and 2 sugars. personally i dont like coffee sweet so i just get it with cream.

the ice capps/coffees and the lattes mostly come from a machine and arent great.
if youre in the mood for a cold beverage you could try tim's peach juice, its very sweet and popular among kids.

Timmy Ho's has the worst food of any fast food/coffee shop chain. The timbits are the only redeemable food, but for the most part unless you're incredibly lucky and get some that were just added they're all so fucking dry. The donuts are just fucking awful, who would have thought that having them partially cooked at the distribution source would make them have shitty texture...oh wait, everyone who's ever eaten a freshly made donut does...

The only time I ever go there is in the peak of summer when I have a craving for an Iced Cap. That shit is genuinely good. The rest is for the most part complete garbage.

>> No.6276457

I live in New York and a Tim Hortons opened up a few blocks away from my house. I didn't know they were opening state side.

First time I've ever seen one, haven't gone yet. I've always assumed it was the Canadian version of Dunkin Donuts.
