Alright cu/ck/s I need some advice on my cookies.
I have no problem making them rise, but they don't spread out like normal cookies. That's not abnormal to me because I'm not using regular ingredients. I'm trying to go for as low of calorie cookies as possible while still being sweet.
Here's my ingredients:
>1 cup flour, 1/2 cup almond flour, 1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce, 1/3 cup stevia, 1 banana, 1 egg, 1 tsp baking powder, 1 tsp salt, 1 tsp vanilla extract, 1/2 tsp baking soda.
What the fuck do I add to make them spread out more? I'll make enough for about 2.5 dozen cookies, then separate the cookie dough and add different ingredients. What should I add anons?
I just need some kind of low cal substitute for brown sugar and butter...

It's common sense to not make cookies that will probably be more than 2000-2500 calories.
My entire 2.5 dozen batch barely comes out to like 900 calories.
Who the fuck is going to eat that many cookies?
Currently bucking, don't want to fuck my macros. If I consumed that many calories, how would I get my protein, eat like 7 cans of dry tuna? No thanks.

it's easy to get protein when you're bulking, you only need 1.6g/kg of lean body mass. so unless you are a manlet, you can easily fit cookies in your macros if you do cardio

If I had a reasonable amount of cookies, say 5-8, depending on if they're small or large, and if they were the normal everyday cookies, there just went 600-900 calories that could've been used on other meals.
Be in denial all you want, eating regular cookies while bulking or cutting is stupid and will fuck your macros.

Clearly the smart thing to do is a clean bulk, a 200-300 caloric surplus is optimal. You can only put on 1.5-2 lbs of muscle on a month MAX, the rest would be fat.

Use a silpat (silicone baking sheet). The slickness of the silpat makes all my cookies spread. In fact, I routinely chill my dough over night now because the dough will spread too much.

Anyway what's wrong with adding fruit to cookies? Having banana and applesauce is more nutritious than just butter or oil since you're getting extra vitamins. Don't say choc chip is unhealthy - dark chocolate is where it's at.
