I never make them myself actually. It's something I order.

The general recipe I know is
>1 part gin to 2 parts lemon juice
>1-2 tsp of sugar
>champagne (or prosecco) to fill
>garnish with twist of lemon zest and a maraschino cherry

Hendricks

Favourite gin would be perhaps Hendricks or Rogue Society from NZ. Beefeater is a great standard for drinking too.

Usually drinking negronis, G&T's, martini's if I want to get a bit drunk.

This is why you see all the positive comments for Hendrick's. It has a very smooth botanical character and doesn't just taste like aftershave.

I can't handle gin
What's weird is I can drink the cheapest shit vodka you can find but gin just gets my fucking goat

don't test me. i'm at my dad's for the holidays and he has hendrick's in his liquor cabinet even though he doesn't drink gin. i hate gin to death and i do not want to be tested.

This, pretty much.

Juniper isn't a natural flavor to like.

Do it.

Hendrick's is gin for people who don't like gin.

Don't drink it neat though. Try it with club soda or seltzer. The more soda/seltzer you add, the more the rose aspect pops out.

usually just a gin and tonic or a tom collins if i feel like something sweeter. beefeater is a go-to but i tried Death's Door recently, recommended.
