As a kid my favorite food was a cheese sandwich....a mere kraft single on wonder bread with miracle whip.

What was your childhood favorite?

Hungry Jack's Yumbo, Australia circa 1988, microwaved ham and cheese burger. I think it was something to do with the Styrofoam reacting with the bun in the microwave, but things will never be the same.

I lived with my Mom for the first 8 years of my life until she tried killing herself. She fed me these every week. I still get a craving for them. I ate a shitload of cereal during that time. Cereal three times a day on most days.

Then I moved in with her Dad who was a WWII vet who grew and cooked all of his meals. He bought the meat from a butcher, but we ate all of our vegetables from his garden. RIP.

Two things I remember:

Cold Hot Dogs - The Oscar Meyer ones taste EXACTLY like their Bologna, so one could assume it's basically the same stuff.

PB&B - Smooth peanut butter and sliced ripe banana (preferably on cinnamon raisin bread) Works best with the bananas on the ripe side

then when i was 8 i went through a phase of eating dry foods

i finally started eating normal food when I turned 13ish
