Sometimes you just want to eat a bunch of different condiments/sauces.

ITT: we talk about our favorite brand of chicken nuggets and sauces

Who has the better nuggets? McDonald's or Wendy's?

McD nuggets suck horribly, same with Burger King. BK used to have godtier years ago, but now they are like the exact same as McD. Wendy's is pretty good, a little expensive tho. Chic Fil A is good but way way way too expensive.

The nuggets OP posted I can get for $2.50 a pound, they aren't the best nuggets ever, but as a poor college student those are the ones I buy. Store brand is a little cheaper, but tyson is worth the extra money.

Yeah, I bought a 2 pound bag. I don't remember how much they were, but I want to say it was $4.99 which would match up with what you're saying.

You ever tried Banquet? They're are the filthiest, bottom-of-the-barrel chicken nuggets. Nothing but dark meat inside.

I love them.

Those things are just tiny chicken strips/pop corn chicken.

Nuggets are made from pulverized chicken meat.

I would kill for some dark meat nuggets.

Beyond that it's just a matter of what color pinto you want to drive. They are all equally "shitty" but shitty in different ways.

Wendy's nuggets are literally nauseating. The only time I've ever vomited from fast food, and it happened multiple times from different Wendy's. That being said, McDonalds has them consistently the best, but they're not that great overall.

I always thought their nuggets were a little bit better than McDonald's. They have spicy ones now.

But yeah, McDonald's is legendary. They need to add more sauces.

As strange as it is, I thought the strips from Papa Johns were pretty good, but about two years ago PJs changed them to these popper things which almost always are overcooked and suck.

A good option now is from certain Chinese restaurants that do sweet and sour chicken but serve the sauce separately. Usually I dump the sauce and have the chicken which is chicken nuggets to add to whatever I want.

For frozen pic related, I think these rock over pretty much anything else except from what's made yourself and never frozen, unfortunately that can be a bit difficult to find and will be more expensive than others.

Truth. They even have a similar batter to McDonald's.

I've got a decent buzz, and I could put away an order of sweet and sour chicken, fried rice, egg rolls, and hot and sour soup.

Why not get some Colman's and make the mustard yourself, let's see if from powder, two ingredients, mustard seed from the can, and water which you add.

Though it's pretty good too when Tabasco is used to hydrate the powder.

I broke down, wanted to get some spring rolls but this is a big night for Chinese places so they were out of spring rolls.

It was two roast pork egg rolls, a wonton soup, shrimp toast, and sweet and sour chicken, and this is a place that cooks them properly and gives the sweet and sour sauce on the side.

This will last for a while. Especially being drunk when I just want a little bit at a time.

I just hope they don't burn the shrimp toast, it's a bit random with places, some places get that spot on excellent and it's only a few seconds difference between proper and burnt. This remains to be seen.

Yeah, it tastes no better than crap one would get from a chinese restaurant in a little plastic package. I get those too with pickup or takeout, then throw them away and make my own.

Have you ever tasted ones from Colmans?

You should compare and contrast. The Coleman's are so much better, plus given that's it's really basic you can modify it all you want. But no matter how screwy you make it, it'll be better than the crap in the little plastic packets.

>> No.6088191

basically they still have a shit-ton of it in stock (and they still produce it for the Canadian market) so if enough customers in an area request it, they ship a bunch out to those locations. it seems to be pretty unpopular in the south and on the west coast, but popular on the east coast and in the midwest.

It's ground mustard seed that you can do with as you will, add water, maybe a dash of vinegar, let it sit for 20 minutes, banging, blows the crap out of anything from a lame packet of artificial nothing and food coloring.

Oh and piss off with the deflections, marzano tomatoes are shit compared to what we grow locally here in the USA.

That's not to say that they're bad, that's to say that they're shit compared to what we grow here, where tomatoes are native.
