I don't drink any liqueurs straight that aren't amari (do they count?) or at least 80 proof, but I have a whole bunch of stuff for cocktails. Liqor 43 is interesting in simple highballs, and Luxardo Triplum is a great cointreau sub. Cherry Heering is really great for a fruit liqueur

I bought a handle of that hoping to water it down into something like mead for my frat's viking orgy. It tasted like absolute shit so we just ended up mixing it with lemonade for the girls and drank beer instead.

Anyone have any recommendations for a good whiskey? Only other one I've tried is Glenfiddich 12. I liked it, but I think I maybe want to try something smokier this time. Should I try Bourbon, or Irish Whiskey? Or stick to scotch?
