I've been looking for some low calorie meals and the Cauliflower Pizza looked really tasty

I was going to try this one but was wondering if you guys had made a cauliflower pizza crust before and had any tips

It's moist crust. 9gag stepsister made this and it's not good.

Personally I'd just use a tortilla instead. Less of a pain in the ass and you can just get one of the La Tortilla Factory ones, they make ones that have 70 calories and are low carb or 100 calorie ones, they're both like 10-12 inch tortillas

A tortilla for a pizza crust?
That seems kind of strange

But also I really don't have a problem with preparing ingredients that might be a pain in the ass, I enjoy cooking

Where are you from that making a cheat's pizza with some kind of flat bread for the crust is strange?

Also, pretty stupid to be saying that a bread crust is strange when the OP is talking about a fucking cauliflower crust.

I made it once. Never again.
Better to have a cheat day IMO.

never tried it before, but one of the tips i read was to make sure you dry the cooked cauliflower as much as possible before baking, or else it'll come out soggy. also i'd try cutting in some almond meal as opposed to just straight up cauliflower.

your sister didn't drain the cauliflower enough

I just don't understand the point of a non-bread base. You're topping the thing with cured meat and a fuckton of cheese, just make a bread base and admit that pizza isn't diet food.

because some retards fall for fad diets like keto and eat low-carb

/fit/ is full of these keto faggots. mostly fatties that need to think they are doing a special super strict diet to achieve something, otherwise they fall off the wagon

grain free faggot here due to autoimmune disorder. i make them all the time. like some others have said, you have to drain the cooked cauliflower REALLY well. i put mine in cheesecloth and squeeze as hard as i can til no more water comes out. mix with parmesan cheese and an egg. another tip; flipping it over halfway through cooking makes a world of difference. they are a fuckin pain in the ass to make, a whole head of cauli usually makes one large base. but if you can't have grain, they are fucking awesome if you can't handle the idea of life without pizza. i usually get like 8 fucking caulis and make a shitload and freeze them so i can just take one out when i feel like pizza, thaw it out, throw some toppings on it and into the oven it goes. it doesn't fall apart and tastes pretty close to bread. i miss wheat flour bases so fuckin bad though.

another grain free thing i do sometimes is make "meatza" where you use mince meat (mixed with egg to hold it together) flattened out into a big, thin-ass patty as the base. cook it in the oven til brown then pile veg and cheese on top (and extra meat if you're feeling extra carnal) and put it back into the oven til it's all cooked.

I tried it op, i have a shit oven and a shitty kitchen in general and it was pretty decent.
Also tortilla pizza is great.

That's not strange at all, FFS you're comparing it to a cauliflower crust. A tortilla is just like a ghetto thin crust.

I used to make tortilla pizzas all the time as a kid, it tastes pretty good.

As a ketofag I'll give you a heads up and let you know the cauliflower crust sucks.

Google "holy grail pizza crust". It is hella good for a low carb crust.

Sounds like you're using your auto-immune disorder as an excuse to develop heart disease

Drain the cauliflower as much as you can. Add seasonings (I usually toss in various italian seasonings, sometimes minced onion as well) and cheese to the base. Mix well. As someone said, flipping it over will do wonders. If you want something relatively crisp, bake the crust FIRST, then bake again after adding your pizza toppings.

also, in my experience: never microwave the leftovers. Ever. It brings out the cauliflower taste 1000xfold. Always reheat in the oven or eat cold.
