Eastern people can't make western food. That's pretty well known... They have great cuisines but when they try western food it always turns to shit. I ordered risotto in Macedonia and got uncooked rice stirfried in soy sauce. That was a "good restaurant" as well.

ikr? Well, you should say "can't /eastern Slavs/ read?" Because Croatians and Slovenians can cook western European foods just fine. I consider them, Slovaks and Poles to be Western mainly because of their religious history. To me, Eastern Slavs are Orthodox and Western ones are Catholics.
I divide Europe's halves according to religious history.
Western Europe is mostly Prot or Catholic.
Eastern Europe is mostly Orthodox.
The only exception would be the Czech Republic, which is mostly irreligious yet, to me, is a Western country, culturally.
