Been experimenting with a bottle of Henry McKenna 10 year I got at Costco for $20 and Tabasco sauce. Wanted to see what you get if you try to make something along the lines of Soco Fiery Pepper with a spirit that isn't utter shit.
First run was following a 1:3 ratio I got online for Buffalo Sweat #2, I was lucky to get out alive.
Think I nailed the sweet spot at 1:7.

Has anyone else ever found themselves suddenly losing a taste for alcohol?

I used to drink pretty heavily, 1.5-2L of 8.4% cider every time I was drinking, K cider to be specific, which other britbongs will know is genuine tramp piss.

But recently I just cant tolerate the taste of strong cheap cider and beer, even draught strongbow makes me retch when I drink it too fast, whereas I used to be able to neck it like it was water.

They are stronger than what you've mentioned. Most of them have other chemicals, but there are always a few with just DXM. Usually it's a "long acting" or "maximum strength" cough syrup. Sometimes I'll even find syrup without alcohol content, which reduces the nausea a bit. We used to have Zicam cough mist on the shelves here, that was fucking glorious. It was like half a shot of vile liquid and it contained the full ~350mg DXM. Those were the days.

You'd have better chances of finding a decent product online. But if you're going to buy online, you might as well take the time to search for some pure DXM on clearnet. It's out there, just hard to find.
